Q) Why should I use All Natural products?

A) Harsh detergents and synthetic perfumes can dry out the coat/skin and cause allergic reatcions. Harsh detergents can cause eye irrataions, skin rashes, and hair loss. Cain & ABle Collection products do NOT contain harsh detergents, synthetic perfumes, or artificial colours.

Q) What's the difference between the two scents of Shampoo and Between Bath Spritz?

A) The Lavender/Eucalyptus scent used in the all natural dog shampoo is the traditional fragrance of aromatherapy. Lavender is known for, and has calming effects (great for bath time!) and healing properties, whilst the Eucalyptus revitalises and has disinfectant and antiseptic properties.Whereas, in the Between Bath Spritz is great  for dogs with dry skin and hot spots,  because the Peppermint/Tea Tree oils kill bacteria and fungus on the skin.

Q) What is the Between Bath Spritz used for?

A) The Between Bath Spritz is a great product to keep your dog smelling like they've just stepped out of the bath. Spray on your dog and brush through the hair/coat to remove dirt and leave a light-fresh scent. The essential oils also help to clean the coat and keep it shiny.

Q) What is a hot spot and how are Peppermint and Tea Tree oils natural remedy for hot spots?

A) Hot Spots are a skin disorder where raw patches form as a result of bacteria. If a dogs skin is broken by a cut or a bite, the moist environment can promote bacterial growth. The oils are a natural remedy for Hot Spots as they help to kill bacteria and fungus on the skin; thereby helping to unblock the glands and encouraging the normal flow of the body's own moisturising oils.

Q) Will the Conditioning Shampoo give my dog's hair/coat all the conditioning it needs?

A) For most short-haired dogs, the answer is yes. However, if you have a dog with long hair that matts or tangles, Cain & Able recommend using the Cain & Able Collection Conditioner. It moisturises, hydrates, and detangles long hair. It's also a great conditioner if you want your dog to have a very soft, shiny coat.

Q) Why do I need a dog shampoo? Can't I just use my shampoo on my dog?

A) Human shampoos often use harsher detergents tahn dog shampoos. Dogs are more likely to have an allergic/adverse reaction to these detergents, such as dry, itchy, skin, eye irratations,a nd even hair loss.

Q) My dog has allergies and very sensitive skin. What products should I use?

A) Cain & Able recommend the use of the Oatmeal Soap-On-A-Roap. It is handmade and contains shea butter, aloa, and vitamin e oil. These natural moisturisers soothe dry, itchy skin. It's a great soap for sensitive creatures, and people can use it too! :)

Q) What is the Paw Rub used for?

A) The Paw Rub is fantastic for dogs with cracked paws, irritated skin, and sunburnt noses. It contains shea butter, aloe, and vitamin E oil to help protect, heal and moisture these damaged and sensitive areas.
